In loving memory of Steven D Freeland of Fullerton, Nebraska, who departed this world on February 20, 2025 at the age of 69. Steven leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis "Punch" Freeland and Verlene Freeland (Schmidt); and his nephew-in-law Justin Fisher. He is survived by: his sons, Travis Freeland (Katie) of Gretna, Nebraska and Tyler Freeland (Kalei) of Loomis, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Jada, Crew, Taylor Freeland, Harper and Marshall Freeland; the mother of his child Linda Freeland of Loomis; and his siblings, Terry Freeland (Beverly) of Atlanta, Mark Freeland (Patricia) of Kearney, Dave Freeland (Diane) of Oxford, Nebraska, Tami Peltier (Greg) of Concordia, Kansas and Julie Lindstrom (Bryan) of Oxford. He is also survived by relatives, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949).
A memorial has been established in Steve's honor and kindly suggested to the family for a later designation.
