With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Keith Brandt (Friend, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Brandt and Verna Brandt (Horst); his former wife Lori Brandt; his brother-in-law Mark Crawford; his nephew Mark Rodney Crawford; and his grandparents, William, Maggie Brandt, John and Marie Horst.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Brandt; his children, Nate Brandt (Kaci), Dalton Brandt (Tonya) and Morgan Brandt; his stepchildren, Benny Pecher and Shayleen Harrington (Josh); his grandchildren, Brenson, Bowen, Norah, Milo and Wyatt; his stepgrandchildren, Karter, Karmelo, Calianna, Ellielynn, Benjamin and Braxton; his parents-in-law, Joel and Janet Pospisil; his brothers, Richard Brandt (Janet), Roger Brandt (Dianne), Kenneth Brandt (Dee) and Norman Brandt (Cindy); his brothers-in-law, Dean Crawford (Judy), John Pospisil (Bonnie) and Alan Pospisil (Sherri); his friends, Paul, Becky Erdkamp, Janey, Elliott, Liz, Tony and Sandy; and his sisters-in-law, Erika Roy (Joe), Irene Parker (Harold), Sonja Graham, Liz Berhal (Augie), Gerdi Mowery (Rick) and Marion (Barr).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lauber Funeral Home (814 Maple St, Friend, NE 68359). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Friend Congregational Church (639 2nd St, Friend, NE 68359). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Exeter Cemetery North River (2113 Rd 21, Exeter, NE 68351).
Memorials may be given to the family for a future designation.
