He is survived by: his children, Deanna Cogswell of Gretna, NE, Curtis (Lisa Cogswell), Linda (Kent Blender) and Jeffrey (Amy Cogswell); his grandchildren, Jennifer Fleming, Justin Wiley of Omaha, NE, Allen, Jordan Cogswell of Lawton, IA, Coleman, Brooklyn Cogswell of McCool Junction, NE, Conner Cogswell of Tobias, NE, Christina, Chris Schoenholz of Stromsburg, NE, Deric, Kassie Blender of Tekamah, NE, Hannah Blender of Lincoln, NE, Tyler, Kelsey Cogswell of Gretna, NE, Kennedy, Jacob Browning of Edina, MN and Katelynn Cogswell of Stillwater, OK.; his great grandchildren, Phoebe, Sydney Fleming, Abram, Lola, Gwenyth, Owen Cogswell, Tyson, Jaxon Schoenholz, Brya Blender and Callahan Cogswell; his sisters, Mary Beth Navratil (Paul) of Crete, NE and Arlene Ramp (NE); and his nieces and nephews, Brenda Frahm, Boyd Navratil, Emily Guenther, Doug Ramp, Bradley Ramp, Valerie Rodino and Marc Cogswell.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lauber Funeral Home (814 Maple St, Friend, NE 68359). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Friend Congregational Church (639 2nd St, Friend, NE 68359). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Andrew Cemetery (604 County Rd E, Friend, NE 68359).
