She was predeceased by: her parents, William McVey and Edith McVey; her husband Harold Hessman; her daughter Eileen Starks; and her children-in-law, Debbie Hessman and Donald Popken.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hessman of Omaha, Patricia Popken of Arizona and Edie Ronhovde (Mike) of Fremont. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
