It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne McGillick of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter McGillick and Freeda McGillick (Weier); his son Stephen; his brother Terry; his grandson David; and his former wife Joan Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jeanne (Schmidt); his children, Michael McGillick (Susan), Lynne Grobeck (Dale), Kelly Pugh (Bart), Nancy Franco (Mark) and Janine Mardock (Barry); his sister Karen Killian; and his stepchildren, Jeff Keisler (Kim), Susie Munro (Michael) and Cindy Shaw (Craig). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
