She was predeceased by: her parents, J. William Pedersen and Dora Pedersen (Appel); her husband Marvin Suhr; her son Joel; her sister Irene; and her brother-in-law Raymond Francis.

She is survived by: her sons, Paul (Donna) of Omaha, Gene (Julie) of Rensselaer, IN and Douglas (Jody) of Temple, TX; her daughter-in-law Mary of Omaha; her grandchildren, Matthew Suhr (Kerry) of Houston, TX, Amy Wells (William) of Conroe, TX, Mindy Weirich (Sam) of Middlebury, IN, Lisa Suhr of Indianapolis, IN and Chad Suhr (Stephanie) of North Chesterfield; and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Nicholas Suhr, Benjamin, Margaret, Ellen Wells, Joseph, Elizabeth, Kate Weirich, Beatrice and Irene Suhr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Joel T. Suhr Memorial Basketball Scholarship at Midland University or Peace Lutheran Church.
