It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Verona Anderson of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Newman Grove, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 92, on September 24, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Mousel and Zetta Mousel; and her husband Dennis Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Dan Anderson (Sue) of Lincoln, Carol Stetzner (Larry) of Frisco and Daryl Anderson of Fort. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; 2 step-grand and 2 step great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church and the Fremont YMCA.

“Verona joined Peace Lutheran at the same time as I. We were together in the membership class. Now we have been together for some time at Nye Square. She was a lovely lady and I liked her very much. I remember she was not sure if she had been baptized, so she was baptized as an adult at Peace. I found it a very moving service. I have been impressed at how nice she always looked (regularly had her hair done) right up to the end. She was still pretty sharp too: Played games with her.”
