We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2023, at the age of 78, Vernon Peterson of Fremont, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon William and Fredora Lucille "Fritzie" Peterson (Vetter); his daughters, Michelle and Vicki Peterson; his sister Pat; his son-in-law Barry Richard; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Sommers and Cecil Woodgate (Janice).
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Woodgate; his children, Nicole Pingel, Randi Richard (Brian), Tim Peterson (Tracy) and Chad Peterson (Tonja); his brothers, Jimmy Peterson and Mike Peterson (Michelle); his brother-in-law Gerald Woodgate (Linda); and his grandchildren, Alan Peterson (Samantha), Austin Peterson (Nick), Justin Bittinger (Ashley), Taylor Merida (Rocio), Cheyenne Flagle (Brandyn), Lane Siems (Shaylee), Hayley Pingel, Jackson Pingel and Jared Pingel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
