It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verne Bray of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Stamford, Nebraska, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Bray and Ruth Bray (Stone). He is survived by: his wife Maxine Dunker (Peters) of Fremont; his son Terry Bray (Diana) of Fremont; his stepsons, Richard Dunker (Deb) of Cedar Bluffs, Michael Dunker (Deanna) of Vernal, UT and James Dunker (Karen) of Cedar Bluffs, NE; his daughters, Cathy Roberts (Graham) of Fremont and Deb Mitchell (Richard) of Ithaca, NE; and his stepdaughters, Karen M. D Stout (Patrick) of Colorado Springs, CO and Susan Hajek of Fremont. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Bluffs, NE.
