He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dimmitt and Vera 'Jardine Dimmitt; his former wife Mary Newkirk; his daughter Debbie; and his brother LeRoy.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Dimmitt of Fremont; his daughter Sher Gloeb (Chris) of Arlington; his son-in-law Tim Adler of Arlington; his grandchildren, Sarah Sharp (Chad) of Arlington, Ben Adler (Jamie) of Arlington and Ashley Gloeb-McDonald (Rob) of Goffstown, NH.; his sister-in-law Fran Miller (Frances) of Arlington; and his stepchildren, Bob McCord (Rexann), John McCord (Deb), Julie Hawbaker (Tom) and Paul Graser. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
