He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bokowski and Elmae Bokowski (Petersen); and his stepfather Elmer Springer. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean; his sons, Corey Bokowski (Val) of Gretna, NE and Chad Bokowski (Meghan) of Cape Coral, Florida; his brother Del Bokowski (Elaine) of Lincoln, NE; and his grandchildren, Emily Broschat (Brandon), Brooke Ziebell (Chase), Christian Bokowski, Alec Bokowski and Erin Bokowski.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes association or to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation.
