She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Ahrens and Donna Ahrens; her sister Lyla Whitehouse; her niece Brittany Koehn; and her nephew Stephen Ahrens Myers.
She is survived by: her husband Rob Reed; her sons, John Hinrichs (Christi) of Pine Haven, WY and Jeremiah Hinrichs (Nena) of Sandy, UT; her stepdaughter Amanda Brown (Mike); her grandchildren, Oliver, Ethan of Omaha, Riley Reed (Bri), Crew Callum and Scarlet of Omaha; and her sisters, Louise Hitchcock (Dave) of Brighton, CO, Gretchen Lees (Jay) of Chadron, NE and Heather Ahrens of Hay Springs, NE.. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025).
