She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Whittaker and Mildred Whittaker (Humphreys); and her sister Carol Siefkes (Reinder). She is survived by: her husband Jon Appleget of Fremont; and her sons, Jon Appleget (Mary) of Colorado Springs, CO, Andrew Appleget (Carin) of Lincoln and Thomas Appleget (Angie) of Lincoln. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Dodge County Humane Society.
