It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Finney of Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Timm and Charlotte Timm (Heller); her former husband William Hurt; and her brother David Timm. She is survived by: her husband Dale Finney of Fremont; her children, LaNita Ortgies (Dean) of Eagle, NE, Carolyn Finney of Omaha, Susan Fowler (Jay) of Hooper, Sandra Weinrich (Travis) of Battle Creek, NE, Tim Finney (Jennifer) of Council Bluffs, IA, William Hurt of Burlington, KS and Jeff Hurt of Lincoln; and her sister Janice Bailey (Gary) of Woodbury, IA. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Moser Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Services (2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025).
