With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Katz of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Sprague, Nebraska, who passed away on August 30, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Leber and Anna Leber (Nannen); her husband John Katz; her son Michael; and her brother Lloyd Nannen.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Richter (Jeff) and Brad Katz (Marcia) of Fremont; her stepsons, George Katz (Sally) and Douglas Katz; her sister Gladys Kuster of Omaha; and her grandchildren, Jason Richter (Bobbi), Darren Richter (Beth Chingren) of Omaha, Brandon Katz (Hannah), Rachel Fredrickson (Corey) of Fremont, Ashley Gorham and Brett Sailors of Omaha. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church in Fremont or the Fremont Noon Kiwanis Club.
