It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruben L. Ney of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ney and Annie Ney; his son Ryan Ney; and his wife Rosanne Ney (Moon). He is survived by: his close friend Trude Ayers of Fremont; his children, Robert Ney (Terry) of Oakland, IA, Randy Ney of Council Bluffs, Rhonda Rankin (Scott) of Council Bluffs and Richard Ney (Kelly) of Council Bluffs; and his close friend Buddy Starkey (Terri) of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
A lunch will follow at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. The family will direct memorial contributions.
