Rodney D. Borgmeyer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney D. Borgmeyer of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Wisner, Nebraska, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton and Wilma'Marx'Borgmeyer; his stepmother Ethel Borgmeyer; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Mains and John Rabe.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Mains of Fremont; his children, Erik Borgmeyer (Carrie) of Lincoln, Jennifer Thomsen of Fremont and Stephanie Keller (Klinton) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Tyler Borgmeryer, Logan Borgmeyer (Brandi), Kaeden Thomsen, Graesen Thomsen Alex Witte, Kortney Davie (Drew) and Kaden Keller; his great grandchildren, Luka Borgmeyer and Easton Davie; his siblings, Gary Borgmeyer (Kathy) of Fremont and Coralea Rabe of Lincoln; and his brothers-in-law, Kevin Mains (Kelly) of Arizona and Rollie Mains of Indiana.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1546 N Luther Rd, Fremont, NE 68025).
