He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Boettger and Irene Boettger (Grau); his spouse Nadeen; and his sisters, Mildred Ward (Merle) and Marilyn King (Conrad).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Braun (James), Pam Strain (Jon), Brenda Jones (Monte) and Beth Matzke (John); his grandchildren, Amy, Sarah, Bryant, Jason, Jonathan, Sean, Abby, Andrea, Ben, Luke, Aaron and Lori; his great grandchildren, Nora, Titus, Ezekiel, Jack, Judah, Otto, Addilyn, Lainey, Mae, Ivy, Willa and Merritt; and his close friends, Paul and Linda Von Behren.
