He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Chromy and Dorothy Chromy (Prchal); his children, Robert Chromy, Jr. and Tonya Chromy; his brother Thomas Chromy; his sister-in-law Doris Chromy; and his nephew Nicholas Bauer.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Parr); his daughters, Tammy Zvacek (Mike) of North Bend and April Robertson (Rick) of Hooper, NE; and his siblings, Steve Chromy (Audrey) of North Bend, Ed Chromy (Becky) of Fremont, Donald Chromy of Morse Bluff, Kathy Bauer (Dan) of Morse Bluff and Jeanne Quinn (Mike) of Columbus, NE. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
