He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Petersen and Anna Petersen (Busch); his wife Tillie; and his sister Barbara Chaney. He is survived by: his children, Karinda Schott (Chad) of Mesa, Arizona, Mark Petersen (Mary) of Fremont and Jim Petersen (Joyce) of Fremont; his brother Delmar Petersen (Leanna) of Riverside, California; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Sara, Shelly, Ryan, Tammy, Amanda, Derek and Meredith. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or St. Croix Hospice of Fremont.
