She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Gerwick and Viola Gerwick (Beck); her daughter Brenda; her sister Lola Mae Giesselmann Scheer; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Giesselmann, Tim Ash and Sharon Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Johnson (Dick); her sons, Brian Johnson (Tami) of Arlington and Mike Johnson (Joni) of Redding, CA; her grandsons, Cody Johnson (Carly), Curt Johnson (Lexi) and Tyler Johnson; her sister Sharon Ash; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Johnson, Ellen Hansen (Dennis) and Jackie Cosseboom. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
