He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans C. and Selma'Janowski'Harms; his siblings, Joan C. Ziegler (Robert), Marian Wolf (Lyle) and Warren R. Harms; and his brothers-in-law, LeRoy Marquardt (Norma) and Stanley Marquardt (Mary) of Scribner.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Marquardt of Fremont; and his sons, Thomas P. Harms (Lanie) of Fremont and Daniel C. Harms (Ellen) of Matthews, NC..

He ushered, was a member of the church council, served on the property and memorial fund committees and was active in the ACT group.
