She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Jerome Tanous; and her son David Matthew Tanous. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Tanous-Tomonelli; her son-in-law Ralph Tomonelli; her daughter Jennifer Tanous; and her granddaughter Virginia Gallner.

Any memorials made in Pamela's name can be donated to MICAH House, New Visions Homeless Services (MOHM's Place), and Catholic Charities Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program (Phoenix House) in Council Bluffs.
