She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bang and Mabel Bang (Knoell); her husband Ramon Janssen; her parents-in-law, Earl and Harriett Janssen; her brother Lyle; her siblings-in-law, Jeanyne Bang, Duane Brand, Erlaine Plugge, Monte Janssen and Lyle Plugge; and her nephew Colin Janssen.
She is survived by: her children, Nick Janssen (Susan), Michael Janssen (Vicki) and Nola Swenson (David); her sister Elaine Brand; her siblings-in-law, Leigh Janssen (Sandy), Leslie Janssen and Ann Keene; and her grandchildren, Alex Janssen (Alanna), Lauren Smith (Bryce), Elly Johnson (Justin), Emily Janssen (Eddie Vacek), Elliot Janssen-Hufferd (Kyle), Maggie Swenson (Drake Rector) and Vance Janssen (Natalie). She is also survived by five great-granddaughters, one step great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (11022 11th St, Fontanelle, NE 68044).
