He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Hanson; his stepfather Bradley Walter Dirks; his mother-in-law Phyllis Rico; and his brother-in-law Ed Sazama. He is survived by: his wife Karen Rico; his children, Crystal White (Justin) and Lucas Hanson (Melissa Nunn); his mother Otilde Dirks (Hanson); his sister Linda Sazama; his father-in-law Francis Rico; his brother-in-law Dennis Rico; and his grandchild Axton White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
