She was predeceased by: her sister Suzanne Stuenkel; her stepparents, Marvin Lang and Mabel Mattes; her grandparents, Albert Simon, Ellen Vossler (Fred) and Raymond Mattes (Helen); and her niece Emily Rose Tharp.
She is survived by: her father Ronald Mattes of Omaha; her daughters, Amanda Swahn (Zackery) of Fremont, Brittany Brown (Jacob) of Fremont and Melissa McElroy (Brandon) of Fremont; her stepdaughter Jayme Muhle (Shane) of Florida; her mother Mary Stuenkel Lang (Simon) of Uehling, NE; her sisters, Sherri Tharp (Dale) of Fremont and Terri Dunaway (Ron) of Hooper; her stepsister Andrea Regier-Venditte; and her brothers, Ronald Mattes (Cindy) of Hooper and Randy Stuenkel (Amanda) of Ames. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
