We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 97, Maxine J. Barnhill of Fremont, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Maxine leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Maxine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Milacek and Emma Milacek; and her husbands, Rodney Barnhill and Elmer Krafka. She is survived by: her son Robert Krafka; and her grandsons, Gregory Krafka (Chanel), Rodney Krafka and Darren Krafka. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fremont Presbyterian Church (520 W Linden Ave, Fremont, NE 68025).
Memorials may be given to the Fremont Presbyterian Church.
