Marilyn Race Obituary

The memory of Marilyn Race of Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Marilyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marilyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Marinec and Josephine Marinec (Wolf); her husband Neal D. Race; her sister Ione; and her half-siblings, Mildred, Irma and Ernie.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Kathleen) and Larry Race; and her grandchildren, Pam Hardegger and Aaron Race.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moser Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Services (2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
