Hammang of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Ames, Nebraska, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Sokolovsky and Gladys 'Mahel Sokolovsky; her husband Gerald 'Jerry Hammang; and her siblings, Jerome, George and Joan.
She is survived by: her children, Betsy Hemenway (Joe Oxler) of Lincoln and Chris Hammang of Fremont; her grandson Ashton Hemenway of Lincoln; and her siblings, Joe Sokolovsky of Fremont, Mary Ann Hrdlicka of Omaha Margaret and Meg Andersen of Lafayette, LA..
