She was predeceased by: her parents, Pelham McGee and Ruby Pearl McGee (McElwain); her parents-in-law, Lawrence William and Leah Mitchell; her siblings, Clifford, Gordon, Robert, Bernard McGee and Mildred Andreasen; her siblings-in-law, Stan Andreasen, Deloris, Jenny, Karen and Donnette McGee; her nephews, Doug Andreason and Bill McGee; and her niece Anita McGee.

She is survived by: her husband John Mitchell; her sons, Will Mitchell (Kim) and Rick Mitchell (Raeanna); her brother Dick McGee; and her grandchildren, Bronwyn, Rowan, Liam, Gareth, Isaac, Molly and Ayden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and daycare friends.
