She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Jessie Anita Hashberger, Sr. (Kyler); her husbands, Robert Bernheisel, Sr., Frank Kourek and Rodney Tacner; her daughter Shirley Kampschneider; and her grandson Kenneth Goertz, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Robert Bernheisel, Jr. of Morse Bluff, NE, Albert Bernheisel (Edna) of Selma, NC, Tony Tacner (Kate) of Fremont, Mary Wilmer (Wes) of Fremont, Sheryl Westermann of Fremont and Tammy Phillips (Curtis) of Omaha; and her siblings, John Thomas Hashberger, Jr. of Dodge, NE, Robert Hashberger (Patsy) of Council Bluffs, IA and Hallie Knapp of Fremont. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
