She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Jindra and Lillian Jindra (Cerny); her children, Rodney Fichtl and Nancy Wylie; her great grandchild Andrea Evans; her siblings, Alma Podany (Adolph), Ruth Seburg (Carl), Doris McDonald (Gary), Mildred Jindra, Robert Jindra, Alden Jindra (Marilyn) and Richard Jindra (Myrtle); her siblings-in-law, Charles Suchan, Ken Hledik and Delores Kudera (Adolph); her niece Cindy Podany; and her nephews, Dave Podany and Troy Jindra.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Fichtl of Norfolk, NE; her daughter Connie Bayer (Alvin) of Clarkson, NE; her granddaughters, Amanda Bayer of Clarkson, NE and Jessica Evans (Andy) of Pierce, NE; her son-in-law Greg Wylie of Pilger, NE; her grandson Kyle Wylie of Pilger, NE; her siblings, Viola Suchan of Columbus, NE, Betty Hledik of Columbus, NE, Shirley Brabec (Dean) of Columbus, NE, Adolph Jindra (Mary) of Schuyler, NE and Ronald Jindra (Marilyn) of Columbus, NE; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Jindra of Fort Madison, IA..
