She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Horwath and Betty Horwath (Bechtel); and her sons, Anthony and Timothy Petersen. She is survived by: her children, John G. Petersen, Jr. (Brenda Greser) of Fremont, Christopher Petersen of York, NE and Molley Lippold (Shane) of Omaha; and her siblings, Charles Horwath of Fremont, Kay Dunbar (Mickey) of Taylor, NE, Barb Zimmerman (Roger) of Omaha and Elly Karr (Ron) of Fremont. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Dodge County Humane Society.
