He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Claudine Davidson; and his stepson Neil Plugge. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Plugge (Scheer) of Fremont; his children, David Pendley (Andrea) of Fort Worth, TX, Darrin Pendley of Hebron, NE., Kellie Sandoval (James) of Phoenix, AZ and Jackie Paugels (Lee) of Fremont; his stepchildren, Nathan Plugge (Christine) of Blair, NE and Kristen Matteo (Shawn) of Fremont; his sister Carol Jean Walker; his sister-in-law Gwen Stablein; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Matteo, Walter Matteo, Jessica Pendley, BreAnna Paugels, Alec Paugels, Nicholas Benjamin, Kristin Benjamin, Megan Pendley and Makayla Pendley; his great grandchildren, Aundrina Pendley, Jazzlyn Pendley, Marley Goodwin, Jayden Benjamin, Lincoln Paugels and Madelyn Paugels; and his stepgrandchildren, Samuel, Tyler, Jacob Plugge, Saige and Kelsey Juhnke.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (8951 Co Rd 9, Arlington, Nebraska 68002). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be divided between organizations close to LeRoy's heart.
