It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Soukup of Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Karpisek and Lydia Karpisek (Kriz); her husband F. Harold Soukup, Jr.; her daughter Sheri Gocken; and her siblings, George Karpisek, Dorothy Lastovica and Margie Larsen.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Soukup (Diane) of Hooper, Bruce Soukup (Kathy) of Strang, Ken Soukup (Heidi) of Orlando, Florida, Debra Pedan of Portland and Teri McCabe (Jim) of Manson, Iowa. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
