It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Widhelm of Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Julius and Catherine Marie Widhelm (Wegener); his siblings, Theodore, Raymond, Alois, Robert, Herman, Ralph, Dorothy Widhelm and Wilma Dunker; and his great grandchild Jacob Bray.
He is survived by: his wife Helen (Hobza) of Fremont; and his children, John J. Widhelm (Kim) of Valley, NE, Jeffrey T. Widhelm (Connie) of Valley, NE, Barbara S. Moser (Ted) of Norwalk, IA and Joyce A. Hoppes (Steve) of Fremont. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St Patrick Catholic Church, Right To Life or Saunders Medical Center Memory Care.
