He is survived by: his mother Betty Jane Covington (Holtorf) of Fremont; his friends, Brian Tillman, Myron Sabatka and Osvaldo Sanchez "Ozzy"; his pet Peaches; his wife Penny Covington (Vannoy) of Fremont; his children, Justin Covington of Omaha, Mika Covington of Iowa City and Mary Covington; and his stepdaughter Misty Newton of Albion, NE. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
