It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Kubr of Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joe shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joe farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kubr and Lydia Kubr (Wesely); his wife Alyce Tomsicek (Marjorie); and his siblings, Tony, Donald Kubr and Pearl Settles.
He is survived by: his son Douglas Kubr (Shari Bitney) of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (3200 Military Ave, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
