He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe and Trevia Kotik, Sr. (Temple); his grandparents, Claud and Anna; his wife Betty; his close friend Mary Schulzkump; his daughter JoLynn Arthur; his siblings, Eleanor Friedrich, Barbara Jacobs and Larry Kotik; and his brothers-in-law, Chuck Mork, Richard Sampson and Frank Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, David Kotik (Teresa-Acker) of Scribner, Terri Kotik of Newton, Tricia Henrichson (Steve) of St. Joseph and Doreen Bennett-Allen (Bronner) of Jacksonville; and his siblings, Jerry Kotik (Jane), John Kotik (Bev) of Fremont, Anne McKlem of Fremont, Mary Gable (Jim) of Mitchell, NE, Cleo Sampson and Nola Mork of Williston. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
