She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hans and Marjorie McBride Reimers; her husband Ralph Matthew Gibbons; her siblings, Patty L. Roberson and Charles G. Reimers; her children-in-law, Nola Durning Gibbons and Corey Jon Nelson; and her granddaughter Deirdre Burner.
She is survived by: her children, Darcy Burner-Shapiro (Jonathan), Tamara Nelson, Timothy Gibbons, Jason Gibbons (Debra) and Derek Gibbons (Jennifer); and her siblings, Sally Cavanaugh and Marvin Reimers. She is also survived by four grandsons, five granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
