Herre of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Carroll, Nebraska, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Otte and Lula 'Cook Otte; her husband George 'Sonny'; and her siblings, Norma Pattavina, Duane and Ronald 'Putsy Otte.
She is survived by: her nephew Bob; her niece Eileen Thornburg of Fremont; and her close friend Shirley Flanagan. She is also survived by Many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Joanie loved all of God's little creatures so she requests memorials be made to the Dodge County Humane Society or FurEver Homes in her name.
