He was predeceased by: his father Danny Bittinger, Sr.; his grandparents, Franklin, Hazel Bittinger, Neal and Marie Raddatz; and his uncle Jim Raddatz.

He is survived by: his mother Carol Bittinger (Raddatz) of Fremont; his children, Hunter Bittinger (Payci Owens) and Mallary Bittinger (Evan Peterson); his siblings, Tammy Small (Gale) of Del Norte, CO, Kelly Neuhaus (Brian) of Fremont and Danny Bittinger, Jr. of Fontanelle, NE; his grandson Bowen Bittinger of Fremont; his stepsiblings, Kelly Johnson of Fremont, Connie Bang of Elkhorn, Susan Phillips (Alan) of Fremont, Marilyn Spenner (Gary) of Fremont and K. C. Bang of Benkelman; his aunts and uncles, Janet Bales (John), Steve Raddatz (Kathy) and Dean Raddatz (Tammy); and his nieces and nephews, Carlie, Conner Neuhaus, Taylor Merida and Justin Bittinger. He is also survived by cousins and many many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fremont Alliance Church (1615 N Lincoln Ave, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials are suggested to Methodist Women's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
