He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. and Twila'Duensing'Griffiths; and also Diane. He is survived by: his daughters, Jayme Bieker (Adam) of Fremont and Erin Niehaus (Connor) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Ellie and Addie Bieker; his daughters, Brynlee, Blakely and Collins Niehaus; his siblings, Kim Ferro (Frank) of Raymore, MO., Matt of Dallas and Mark Griffiths of Dallas; and his brother-in-law Terry Hellmer (Cammie) of Beatrice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Memorial Cemetery (800 W 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025).

Memorials are suggested to the Fremont Public Schools Foundation.
