He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hoegermeyer and Lillie 'Katt Hoegermeyer; his sister Nancy; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Hewitt, Janice Hayes and Norman Paasch.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Morgan of Fremont; his son Greg Hoegermeyer (Patti); his grandchildren, Kylie Winslager (Josh), Gaby Hoegermeyer and Gage Hoegermeyer (Kate); and his sister Marilyn Paasch.
