He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Dather and Elaine Dather (Murphy); his sisters, Jo Dather Hart, Vicky Mayhew and Deborah Lynn Lackey; and his in-laws, Jay and Phyllis Foster (Leeds).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Foster; his children, John Dather (Jill) of Fremont and Laura Foley (Michael) of Columbus; and his sister Connie Dather of Fremont. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 plus great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Bluffs Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.
