She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Thompson and Irene Thompson (Warren); her husband Melvin G. Steinert; and her siblings, Warren, Wayne Thompson and Bonnie Richards.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julianna Lintzman (Nate) of Omaha and Lisa Jo Bennett (Barry) of Merced, CA; her grandchildren, Aaron Lintzman of Omaha, Ryan Bennett (Lauren) of Oceanside, CA and Katelyn Bennett (Johan Henkens) of Springfield, OR; and her great grandchildren, Cooper and Sutton Bennett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends memorials to Salem Lutheran Church, Salem's Table Food Distribution, or the Alzheimer's Association.
