Elsie Saunders Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2023, at the age of 81, Elsie Saunders of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Colome, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle A. Kyler and Hazel M. Kyler (Barnett); her spouse Thomas O. Saunders; her daughter Susan; her parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Saunders; her siblings, Willard, Roger, Leroy Kyler and Vada Kyler; and her siblings-in-law, Billy, Gary Saunders, Darrell Orel, Sam Cole and Pat Rolf.

She is survived by: her children, Mericke Christensen and John Saunders; her niece April Kardisco (Jim); her siblings, James Kyler (Gina), Eunice Cole, Sharon Totten (Don Etherington), Carol Zvorak and Nila Lively (Dave); her siblings-in-law, Lyle Saunders, Gaylord Saunders (Pat), Peggy Harriger (Floyd), Judie Kyler and Linda Saunders; her grandchildren, Ashley Johnstone (Justin), Brad Christensen (Jen), Steven Stearns, Chrissy Blahak, Samantha Bohanan (Mike), Kim Blahak (Eric McDunn) and Zach Blahak; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Piper Johnstone, Kyle, Lakota, Wilbur Stearns, Payden Blahak, Bella Sulley and Beckham McDunn; and her close friends, Butch Walker (Roseann), Betty Walker, Ryu Ito and Kory Rozell (Carolie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
