She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Jahnke and Leona Jahnke (Stuckenschmidt); her husband Harvey Bartling of John's Lutheran Church; her brother Lloyd Jahnke; and her siblings-in-law, Marian Jahnke-Woltemath, Erma Stigge, Donald Bartling, Charles Crom, Ronald Kuss, Sheldon Novak and Wilbert Stigge.
She is survived by: her sons, Russell Bartling (Jennifer) of Fremont and David Bartling (Jill) of Hooper; her grandchildren, Lindsay Hunt (Chris) of Austin and Brandon Bartling (Brandy) of Omaha; her great grandchild Noelle Hunt; her sisters, Beverly Novak of Macy, Geraldine Crom of Decatur, Shirley Mackey (Gene) of Antigo and Lina Rahn of Omaha; and her siblings-in-law, Vera Kuss of Elkhorn, Marilyn Bartling of Fremont and Lorin Woltemath. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
