It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna M. Bergquist of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Humboldt, Nebraska, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sutorius and Emma Staus Sutorius; her husband H. Orville Bergquist; her grandson Dirk Bohling; her foster daughter Mary Zimmerman Bauer; her siblings, Ruth Fitzwater (Gale) and John Sutorius (Agnes); and her siblings-in-law, Harold Bergquist (Margaret) and Hazel Olson (Martin).
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Bergquist (Sonia) of New York City, Tom Bergquist (Kay) of Lincoln and Jean Bohling (Allan) of Hooper; her grandchildren, Janna Bolton (Doug), Julie Hanes (Christopher), Ryan Bohling (Mikki), Kelsey Madsen (Hans) and Tracy Bornemeier; and her great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Zadie Bolton, Loralie, Dalton Hanes, Jonah, Micah, Bellamy Bohling and Aysha Bornemeier Herndon.
