With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwight Phillips of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, who passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Phillips and Elsie Phillips (Taube); his wife Patricia "Pat" Davis; his daughter Linda Hermsmeier; his grandson Miner Bassinger; his siblings, Lila, Alice, Lucille, Ernie, Richard and Walter; his son-in-law Scott Bassinger; and his sister-in-law Janet Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Phillips of Fremont, David Phillips (LeAnn Baker) of Filley, NE and Cindy Bassinger of Lindsborg, Kansas; and his siblings, Marvin Phillips of Beatrice, NE, Francis Phillips (Mary) of Valley, NE and Shirley Bartels (Delbert) of Blue Springs, NE. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.
